The main but not sole purpose of this position is to serve as the custodian of City records and supervisor of elections for municipal elections.  This position attests and countersigns all contracts, bonds, and other legal documents, conduct municipal elections and supervises activities of the City Clerk's Department. This class works under administrative supervision, developing and implementing programs within organizational policies, and reports major activities to executive administration through meetings and/or reports.
